A fun afternoon of creativity and art on the beach as we create a beautiful, enormous, temporary artwork together on the sand!
No experience necessary- just bring your enthusiasm and creativity. This event is a light-duty, drop-in style experience. There will be a short orientation, but no instruction. I will provide the tools you need to make our masterpiece. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking to try something new, this event is accessible to everyone.
Tell your friends, bring your family, and come enjoy a spell at the beach creating monumental art together.

Note: I ask each registrant for a small $2 donation (more accepted :-) to help offset the costs of hosting this event- travel from the Sierras, tool repair (something always breaks!), the marketing that helps build a great turnout, and hosting the free event photos. Every $1 donated is redeemable for merchandise at the beach.

Large-Scale Beach Art Workshops
San Francisco
This is a 3-hour workshop intensive- you'll learn real techniques for large-scale beach art while dropping into creative flow.
Breathe in the peace of creating with nature as the sound of the waves carries you. Reconnect with your inner child's sense of wonder and possibility as you play in the sand. Together we'll connect to ourselves, to the beach, and to our fellow creators through hands-on activities exploring the tools and techniques of massive art-making. We'll build toward one original, group-guided artwork, and close the session with aerial photos to take home as a lasting memory.
Sliding scale Pricing- Please Read: Reserve your spot by selecting a ticket and completing registration below- this ensures you receive all event emails. I'll follow up with payment details. This workshop is offered at a full value of $85. I ask you to meet it where you're able- not as a fee, but as your part in keeping this event and my offerings happening. No one is turned away for lack of funds- I want everyone who feels drawn to this experience to have access to it. I'm grateful for whatever support you can offer, financial or energetic. After the experience, I'll also follow up with photos- if it turns out you'd like to add to your support once you've lived it, that'll be an easy place to do so.
